Who is responsible

Taxmarc B.V. (KvK 62737767), Utrecht, the Netherlands, is the controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect, and why

We collect only what a page you use actually needs.

• Contact form — your work email address and, if you choose to write one, your message. We use these to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange a follow-up conversation. Nothing else on the form is required.
• Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, recorded automatically to keep the site available and secure.
• Administrator sign-in — for Taxmarc staff only, through Microsoft Entra ID.

AI assistant

When you ask our AI assistant a question, we record the text of your question (but not your identity, IP address, or the assistant's replies) to learn what visitors want to know and improve our content. We review these questions in aggregate, with personal details removed, and never use them to identify or contact you.

What we do not collect

This website carries no analytics, advertising or social media tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not profile visitors and we do not sell or rent personal data.

Legal basis

We rely on legitimate interest to answer enquiries and to operate and secure the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and on consent where you have opted in to receive updates (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions:

• Hosting — Microsoft Azure, in the European Union (Ireland).
• Email delivery — Microsoft 365, used to send enquiry notifications to our team.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for our own records afterwards, and are reviewed periodically. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Contact us and we will respond within the statutory period.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date shown above.
